Alamphu, Dolakha – A joint field visit was recently conducted by Alamphu Jalabidhyut Bikas Company Pvt. Ltd., the client of the Mathillo Sagu Khola Small Hydropower Project (10 MW), and their consultant, Sanima Hydro and Engineering Pvt. Ltd., to review the project's progress and feasibility at the site.

During the visit, the team focused on the headworks of the project, which have been shifted to an upstream location after a thorough technical review. The newly observed site has been deemed highly suitable for construction and other critical technical aspects, marking significant progress in the project’s development.

The upstream shift in the headworks location was based on recommendations from site studies, which identified the new site as more feasible in terms of structural stability, hydrological considerations, and construction logistics. This move is expected to enhance the project's efficiency and long-term performance.

Survey for the Mathillo Sagu Khola Small Hydropower Project is nearing completion, and the detailed design phase is already underway.
